For 14 years 4×4 Hockey has been the premier spring league, providing a fun and relaxed environment for kids to enjoy 4 on 4 non-contact ice hockey.
With 11 to 14 games of 60-minute ice time, 4×4 Hockey offers the most ice time. With teams of 10 skaters (max 12 skaters) and a goalie, we provide the most skill development and fun for players playing spring hockey.
The league is open to players from U7 Initiation to U15 Bantam, with 2 to 4 sub divisions, all games are non-contact in all divisions.
In U7 initiation, players are provided an unrivalled level of development, with their games played on full ice, using the same rules as all other divisions. They learn icing & offsides, with on-ice coaches to start, we even provide the goalie equipment for the U7 Initiation teams.
Almost all of our games are played at the White City – Emerald park arena, with some games played at the Balgonie and Pilot Butte arenas.
We even seek schedule requests before we build the season schedule, to attempt to accommodate all your spring activities.
Don’t miss out, it’s easy to lock in your team early; when registering your team we only require the payment and registration of 1 player. The rest of the team registers by the early bird rate deadline Feb 15th or before the registration deadline of March 1st.
We have a full roster shootout after every game to break ties or just for fun when not. This has been a huge hit with players and especially parents, it provides a great photo and video opportunity.
Register today and make your spring hockey experience the most worthwhile, with our unrivalled ice time and competitive hockey for all levels of skill, there is no better value.
They will have the most fun on the ice all season, so we are told!
Thank you for trying to get the kids on the ice. All your hard work lost for another year. Here’s to hoping we are back in the rink for 2022. We are missing our 4×4 seasons SO much!!!
